CFES Fitness Knowledge Course
A career as a fitness professional can be one of the most inspiring and rewarding fields to get into. Working with individuals, groups of special populations; on land, in the water, at the track or on the mat; Fitness Knowledge is where your learning journey will start.
A career in fitness is an investment of your time and your resources. Starting with a solid foundation and knowledge of the body and how it moves is the key to taking your career to the next level. Opportunities beyond Fitness knowledge can include the following:
- Small and Large group training (Group Fitness, TRX, Barre Fitness, CrossFit, Spin)
- Aquatic Instructor
- Personal Trainer
- Sport Specific or Event Specific Training (Triathlons, Adventure Races, etc)
- Yoga Teacher
- Special Populations (Seniors Fitness, Young Adults, Special Needs)
Fitness Knowledge Course (fitness theory) is the pre-requisite for most and strongly recommended many additional certifications and modalities. You’ll move forward into your chosen path with the confidence that only a solid education can give you.

Skeletal System, Muscular System, Muscle Structure and Function, Principals of Human movement, Energy systems, Training Principals, and Program design , Cardio, Resistance Training, Nutrition and more …
