Online CFES Group Fitness Instructor Course
This course is designed to teach foundation knowledge and instructor skills to successfully complete CFES Group Fitness Instructor certification — enabling you to program and lead basic group fitness exercise classes. Ample practicum opportunities are provided.
CFES Group Fitness Instructor Course Content
The ONLINE Group Fitness Certification Course covers the practical components and additional theory needed to become a certified Group Fitness Instructor. There are 6 Online classes that will take place through the Zoom video app so please download the latest version and become familiar with it.
Topics include exercise ideas, choreography, cueing, music, safety, lesson planning, class components and leadership skills. This course is fun and very active so students should be prepared to move. Everyone is encouraged to explore different styles of teaching and will work on creating their own routines. In order to maximize learning and provide adequate practice time, this course is spread out over two weeks to guarantee excellent results!
Prerequisite: CFES Fitness Knowledge Course or equivalency
